Reason to go: This Prague themed bar is absolutely adorable. If you have the money, I highly recommend a visit, for dinner or drinks or both!

Twilight Markets

Where: Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong

How much: free entry, but bring money for yummy treats!

What’s the sitch: Running on the first Friday of each month until March 2019 these awesome markets on Flagstaff Hill have all your favourite local food and beverage stalls. Join in on Friday 2nd of November for Light the Night, to support those with leukemia
Register for this beautiful lantern walk to receive a lantern of your own to pay tribute to those affected.

Figure 8 Pools

Where: Royal National Park, Lilyvale

How much: free!!

What’s the sitch: These pools have become famous because of how beautiful they are, however, they make sure you have to work for your reward! It’s a 6km return walk to visit and can be quite dangerous in some conditions.

Red Square

The Offer: $5 vodka infusion every Wednesday and Thursday, all day, with every flavour imaginable!

Reason to go: This bar is legitimately my favourite bar in Wollongong. Their vodka infusion drinks are absolutely awesome, with flavours from maple syrup to sour worms to choose from, it’s heaven!

Where: The Royal national Park, Sutherland Shire

How much: $12 for a day pass

What’s the sitch: This beautiful  inlet is the perfect place to go over the summer. It has a little pool for the kids to play in and on the other side there’s a closed in beach, so gorgeous that you’ll feel like you’re on your own private island!

Flip Out World North Wollongong

Where: 1/20 Ralph Black Dr, North Wollongong

How much: Half an hour is $11 (and trust me 30 minutes is a long time to bounce)

What’s the sitch: Feel like pleasing your inner child? Hit up trampoline world in North Wollongong! Open from 10am to 7-10pm, 7 days a week, it’s not only heaps of fun but great exercise!

The White Rabbit

Where: 2/50 Grey St, Keiraville

The Offer: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm $15 meal and drink deal (and by meal I mean MEAL)

Reason to go: This cute little cafe is situated near the uni, hence the meal and drink deal for you all to take advantage of! All of the meals on offer are big, proper meals and absolutely delicious but I would recommend the margarita pizza because I thought I had died and gone to pizza heaven when I took my first bite.

Wine Island

What’s the sitch: If you enjoy being treated like absolute royalty then this event is for you. They ferry you over from Sydney Harbour to the island, greeting you with a Bellini of course, and from there you can pick and choose the way you want to spend your day in paradise. Pepe’s on the Beach

The Offer: What DOESN’T this place offer??  We’ve got Monday 5-9 Happy Hour of $5 beer, $6 spirits and $10 cocktails as well as $3 tacos. Friday  from 5pm there’s $5 wine and $10 fried chicken buckets, Sundays there’s a $10 cocktail special and all weekend there’s $25 XXXX summer buckets (4 in ea)

Reason to go: Not only does this place have awesome deals and the YUMMIEST drinks ever- I would personally recommend the Iced Pornstar- but it’s also situated right on North Gong beach so you have beautiful drinks with a beautiful view.

What’s the sitch: For those of you who can’t make it to Sculpture by the Sea and want something a bit closer to home, Sculptures at Killalea is perfect for you. There are 87 installations across three sites – Killalea State Park, Stockland Shellharbour and the Civic Centre showcasing the art of talented individuals.
